Christopher Eccleston is such a joy, I love his commentary on being working class and hating the monarchy lmao. If you haven’t watched it yet, I seriously recommend the A Word, he’s great in it and the soundtrack is amazing

Agreed! Christopher Eccleston was the doctor for me.

I found his time to be quite hit and miss. I didn't like season 2 with Rose, but enjoyed him during seasons 3 and 4 with Martha and Donna. Especially with Donna. I hated the specials leading up to Ten's regeneration though.

I wish we could've got another season or four with Nine.

Agreed 100%. Didn't like him as the Doctor. Really didn't like Smith. So glad we got Capaldi and now Jodie. Writing might not be great but those two (and Ecclestone) play/ed great Doctors.
