"The Shadow of the Wind" is my favorite book, I first read it during a vacation in Barcelona, so I was reading about the places I was visiting daily and it's a special memory to me

He had a wonderful way with words, his genre is not my favorite and yet I loved each of his books, this is very sad news to read :( I did not know he was sick

I read Shadow of the Wind on vacation in Barcelona too, it's always really stuck with me

It's already such a beautifully written book to be worth on its own to be loved and remembered, but the association with the city makes it even more special, this is so sad :(

I used to work @ a bookstore and every single time people came in asking for a book rec or something to gift someone with I'd convince them to buy The shadow of wind. I must've sold over 100 copies bc I genuinely wanted everyone to read that book at least once. It's magical 💙

Oh no :( I read Shadow of the Wind in college and absolutely loved it. Gotta go reread it now. RIP, I lost my mom to cancer and it’s fucking evil.

I'm so sad to read this. I loved "The Shadow of the Wind." It's one of my favourite books.

He was far too young. RIP.
