-The Hollywood Walk of Fame 2021 class has been announced.
-Among the honorees are Morris Chestnut,Missy Elliott Don Cheadle, Marla Gibbs, Jennifer Lewis, THe Judds,Benedict Cumberbatch,Nick Cannon, DJ Big Boy,,Sarah Paulson, Trisha Yearwood,Courtney Cox,Jimmy Smits, Giancarlo Giannini,Laura linney, Naomi Watts, Sarah Brightman and more.
-The Hollywood Walk Of Fame currently has 2,600 stars in it's 60 year history.10 million people visit annually
-A star from a list of 5 categories ,Motion Picture,Television,Recording, Live Theatre,Radio, must be nominated by a third party.Friends ,Family,Collegue.The Star must accept the invitation(Julia Roberts and Madonna have declined in the past) and the star(or the stars recording label or a movie or TV studio) must pay 50,000.Half is for the creation of the star, The other half goes into The Hollywood Historic Trust that maintains the star.The star must have 5 years experience in the category they are nominated in.
-The star must agree to attend the ceremony . Only Barbra Streisand is to be known to not attend and still have the star unveiled anyway.
-About 200 applications are received yearly, and 20-24 stars are selected by
