He and Affleck have too much power in Hollywood.

same. This creepy old dude I was nice to tried to ask me out by seeing if I wanted to watch The Martian at his apartment and it was by far the easiest rejection I ever did

Of course she did. The status quo is very much synonym to "if you're not blindingly with us, you're against us".

This is why I don’t drag celebs because they didn’t speak out in certain situations. There is a known history in Hollywood of your career being threatened or over if speak out.

It’s there for white actors but it’s a larger threat for minorities across the board.

That’s why John Boyega had worries about his career being threatened even he didn’t do or say anything wrong.

Good on Lee Daniels having her back.

Absolutely. Professional retaliation in Hollywood is a very well-known thing and I feel like this is frequently forgotten by the masses.

Yeah so many actors have gotten blacklisted for speaking out or refusing to do something. We had this issue during the metoo movement.

Right now I’m thinking of Gabrielle Union being fired from AGT for speaking out about Jay Leno’s racist joke against Koreans.

Or Olivia Munn telling her mom she might be unemployed for a while because she had a registered sex offender removed from her movie set.

I also seem to remember reading somewhere John Cho acknowledging he doesn't get as many leading roles as he could be because he's outspoken about anti-Asian racism in Hollywood.

Poor Effie. I'm still so pissed when I think of that video. The caucasity of Demon. Been hating his nasty ass ever since. Good on Daniels for reaching out, but we didn't forget how he played Monique, so I'm side eyeing his ass as well.
