I don't like it when parents do that... probably because I'm too stupid to keep track of which kid is which.

Same. My mom's bff's kids are all 'L' names. The only one I can ever remember is their son. Everyone else is some mix of Leslie/Lindsay/and another similar 'L' name.

That always annoyed me as a kid and then one day I realized both my brother and I have G names lmao. Different G sounds tho (hard vs soft).

My friend is one of 9 kids, 8 boys with J names and 1 girl with an S name.

(They were rocking the J names almost a decade before the Duggars, but are also quiverful)

my mom is one of 14 kids, and she's the only one whose name doesn't start with 'j'. the tradition started with the next kid.

what makes it more confusing is that some of my mom's siblings continued the 'j' naming tradition with their own kids. i was not one of them, thankfully.

I know two couples that decided to name their boys with the fathers initials, girls with the mothers initials. Both couples only have boys - the kids first and middle names have the same initials (e.g., six boys all with the initials MDJ).
