It's the 90's and while Friends was progressive for the time they were. The show would've made a lot more sense to have Chandler be gay. They were certainly building towards it, and the sassyness was just there. I would've loved to see Chandler trying to date in the 90's.

lol god, I have a whooooole long headcanon for why Dean/Castiel could actually make total sense in the story, but the fandom is just so entitled by now that it would never work. :\ But maybe back in the early S5 days when he first showed up? idk

In retrospect, I totally agree about Denny because then we wouldn't have this heinous Alex/Izzie thing all these years later. And I'll say it: Derek shouldn't have died. I'm still not clear if Patrick truly wanted to leave or was fired because he landed on Shonda's ever-expanding shit list, and I truly never liked Derek, BUT he and Meredith were the heart of the show and I cannot deal with all her dating drama. Just LET A COUPLE BE HAPPY

I dropped off several seasons ago, but in the early days I feel like they just had this very sweet, genuine chemistry that made me love them immediately. But once the writers got wind of it, yeah, then it just got annoying.

The actress who played April even said that. She knew she would be disliked because her character was created to disrupt the L/L romance.

Yeah, it just goes to show how bad the writing got. I feel bad for her because people were hating on her but it's not her fault!! it's bad writing and not letting romances just be stable on TV. Why couldn't they just get together and stay together? oh no let's throw in pointless obstacles that actually serve to show that their relationship isn't very good tbh. If Luke can't be honest about his daughter what business do they have being together?

Honestly, Rory shouldn't end up with any of the guys she previously dated, and moved on like a fucking adult.

I have no hard feelings to April's actress, but that storyline was so ill conceived I still get irrationally irritated about it

Dean Winchester being bisexual and hooking up with Castiel would have made sense. Dean gave off chaotic bisexual vibes. And Castiel realizing he has all these feelings that he never had before about anyone or anything...

Chaotic as in the alignment (like Chaotic Neutral, Lawful Good etc.) They're Dungeons and Dragons terms that kind of became a meme. Now people call characters stuff like lawful bisexual, chaotic bisexual etc.

At least that's how I understand it.
