Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison stated today that the charge for former officer and murderer Derek Chauvin will be elevated to second-degree murder (when the charge was previous classified as third-degree murder and manslaughter), as well as finally pressing charges against the three other officers who witnessed and helped took part in George Floyd's death.
Be clear. This happened because folks took to the streets. Because of protest, @GovTimWalz had Attorney General Keith Ellison take over the prosecution.
