as i said, this will probably end up being a multi-part series. but i don't consider "reflection" a greater first single than the songs listed here ("genie in a bottle" is technically her second).

That was my initial guess why you and RS did not include her in the list bc of Reflection. I guess I’m the only one that does not consider it her debut.

GIAB is easily one of the best debuts of the 90’s. Her and Britney really shaped the generation to come with their singles.
