I watched The Vast of Night earlier this year for the Independent Spirit Awards, and really enjoyed it. It's not doing anything revelatory, but it created some interesting atmosphere on an extremely low budget. I think it'd be cool to watch in a drive-in.

I love Lauren Lapkus, but The Wrong Missy looks awful.

We started watching Mr. Robot earlier this week at my husband's request, and we're about halfway through S1. It's a compelling watch, although for the last couple episodes it's felt like they are doing too much in what is already a pretty plot-heavy show. Curious to see how it ends up.

Also caught up on Run - this Vulture review is literally mte: https://www.vulture.com/2020/05/run-episode-5-recap-jump.html. I'll probably finish it bc there's only a couple of episodes left, but I wish it was better.

We still need to watch the last episode of The Good Place, which I keep putting off, and I really want to start Normal People since everyone's loving it.

I was actually really digging Run but the last ep was not so great.

Fiona's death was DUMB. How could they waste Archie like that? What was the point of introducing her and then just killing her?

[Spoiler (click to open)]Such a waste of a good actress! Hoping they flesh out her role a bit more with flashbacks in the last couple of eps, but I am not optimistic.

Mr. Robot is a very bumpy ride, but the final two episodes in the series were very satisfying, if you choose to watch to that point. A big relief at the end of last year, when other finales (especially Star Wars, for me) had been disappointing.
