Drag him. Idk why, maybe cos she's filthy rich herself, but asking for health/dental from him seems so random.

There are enrollment periods but in all or most states, NY for sure since I live here, there's a 60-day emergency window that opens up after a "life change event" such as losing a job or a divorce and being cut off a partner or parent's insurance. So she should be able to get her own plan without issue.

Oh our health system is a giant mess. I am managing four conditions and I'm so very tired. I think you can apply right away when your "life change" happens so it might take a little to process but in 'normal' times (so, not right now) you're cleared to purchase an individual plan. But for rich folks, I'm sure there's some other way. Or 10.
