I stopped watching Jane the Virgin but not because Michael died. It was just getting too ridiculous. I also stopped watching The OC before Marissa died.

Mark Greene's death was DEVASTATING, even though we knew he was going to die.

I was pretty upset when Denny on Grey's Anatomy died (ignore the ghost sex) and wish we could have had more of him alive.

I didn’t even remember Doug’s name, that’s how much I didn’t care about him

Omg Denny. :((( His episodes are the only ones I've ever watched of Grey's, lol. He deserved so much better.

Mark Greene's last episode is painful to even think about.

I always took ER "seriously" and damn, was that death sad. It definitely didn't make me stop watching but it did have a strong effect. Personally, I'd say it was a mark of a good show and I say it as a total softy who hates to see anyone die and hates to hurt NPCs in video games.

Bob's death was bullshit, especially because the reason it was it got in the way of that awful Joyce/Hopper ship , Joyce/Bob were so cute and they would have made him want to move to another city or something like that, killing him was a very bad decision

BOB! Ugh Bob’s death hit me harder than Hoppers death, mostly bc it was real and not a fake out, but because he was such a good person. He legitimately loved Joyce and wanted to take care of her and the boys. He deserved better, and Joyce deserved to mourn him on her own time and not be forced to get over him bc Hopper felt that Joyce owed him a relationship and sex

Yeah, I love Bob so much :( he was such a genuine sweetheart. I was not sad about Hopper because I knew he wasn’t dead (no body+plus I doubted they would kill off one of the original cast like that)

I wish Hopper stayed dead. He was such a damn dick in the last season

And he would've been such a good support for Will and Jonathan. The way Hopper talked about Will in the pilot was so ugh to me, I just feel like they would clash

The impact of Mark's death was ruined by the aging up of his daughter so she could be a rebellious teenager and Dr. Elizabeth Corday's personality changing to create drama and tension on top of his cancer diagnosis.

I rewatched ER recently and was just as devastated by Mark's death the second time around as I was when it first happened. He really was the heart of that show.
