I don't think Hercules translates well to the big screen. A big part of it is the style and Disney live-actions rather lifeless.

Also, please stop with the Ariana. She's a bad actor and her singing is overrated.

I didn't know until the Disney sing-along but delusional fans and casuals think she'd make a good Meg (no).

I didn't watch Beauty and the Beast because all the awful singing scared me off, but Aladdin was cute because they got lucky Mena was super charming and Naomi was a good Jasmine. That awful P&P Speechless song shows Disney has no business including new songs though.

I rather enjoyed live action Aladdin. Didn't mind The Jungle Book either. But agree on all the rest.

These live action remakes make so much money but they feel culturally irrelevant. I wonder if we'll see a nostalgic shift when the kids that are watching them now grow up or if they'll stay irrelevant forever.

We might. My cousin showed her daughters the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast before the animated one and was disappointed they didn't care for the animated one as much. She wasn't thrilled with their opinion and I told her you need to show the animated one first next time
