It’ll be a while before most of us fly the skies safely again. But in a recent episode of The Real (prerecorded before the outbreak), the ladies discussed if clapping after a plane landed safely was ok and if it was a cultural thing. Nobody on the panel thought there was anything wrong with it. What about you?

same, I’d rather just say thank you to the crew on the way out because let’s be real, they want us off the plane as much as we want to be off

Me neither and I've flown a lot. I've only clapped if they announced some special event. Like I was on a flight that was the very first for the pilot. We clapped for them.
