Last night Diddy held a dance-a-thon on his Instagram Live. Diddy stated that the event was to raise money for healthcare workers. Many celebrities participated, including Jennifer Lopez, ARod, Drake, and Lizzo.

When Lizzo started to twerk during her segment, Diddy rushed in and stopped her.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Diddy shouted, rushing into the frame and stopping the music. "It's Easter Sunday, let's play something a little more family friendly."

Lizzo appeared very flustered and immediately started to apologize. She said: "Sorry, sorry, sorry! Let's do something fun. Well, don't play that kind of... play something I can bop to."

But later on when model/reality star Draya Michelle started to twerk, Diddy didn’t stop her and actually cheered her on. Fans on Twitter started to accuse Diddy of being fatophobic.

After the backlash, Diddy responded later on Instagram and said that the reason he asked Lizzo to stop was not because of her size, but due to the cussing on the record. He said that he loves Lizzo and asked people to stop “looking for the negative and look for the positive.”

Edit: Both of the songs that were played had cussing in them. Draya was dancing to ‘Back That Ass Up’.
