That imagine video is a quintessential vibe that a lot of white liberals are obsessed with, this like "kindness will heal everything". What is it with whites and their obsession with "be kind". Like sorry, but being kind ain't gonna stop someone from indirectly/directly calling me a fag, nigger, or shooting my ass for holding a hairbrush in my pocket when I'm pulled over. It just always feels like a way to skirt around taking accountability or really getting to the root of the problem.

also, the number of gays who just cannot stop posting half-naked pics of themselves in every Instagram post is sending me. Like, ain't you tired?

Mte. You forgot to include white liberals obsession with bringing up MLK jr whenever it comes to black people rightfully being furious and enraged at police murdering them with no consequences whats so ever. I despise the whole "be kind" bullshit, it's just them not wanting to be held accountable for anything or actually have a conversation about race and inequality.

Glad I'm not the only one. I used to ALWAYS feel so weird about it and I was like, why do I feel this way? Am I reaching? Nah. It's easier to just say be kind than say "hm maybe I should think about how I allow the bar for white people to be in hell". It starts from something shallow and then before you know, boom, they are in a position of power in varying degrees (both socially and politically). People are just not getting it and I'm tired of the gaslighting.

Definitely not the only one it's just different when your life is the one that is being targeted and like they can't grasp that or empathize with it. Niceties get you nowhere.

the MLK Jr obsession is crazy since he said explicitly that that attitude from white liberals is the biggest obstacle to progress

yep, so many white liberals STILL think they are far removed from Trump being in office. Like, just because you didn't vote for him, doesn't mean you aren't a participant in the culture that allows for such a thing to happen.

and they always only ever post the same two quotes ~darkness cannot drive hate out~ and something from the i have a dream speech like do y'all know that he had far more to say than that and most notably on the list was that he thought y'all were just as annoying then as you are now

They really like to rewrite history to spare their poor feelings. MLK didn't die peacefully in his sleep at an old age. He was "kind" and still got killed by white people. Black people get killed and abused whether they're "kind" or not.

Also while he promoted kindness he also stood for major societal changes for the better, and wasn't afraid to rustle feathers with his convictions. It almost diminishes the full scope of his legacy; he took action as well, he didn't just stand there saying "wow let's all be kind you guys!"

They've completely distorted and rewritten MLK's peaceful protest message.

Even when Black people peacefully protest, a lot of people get pissed because it's a minor inconvenience.

And this is so hypocritical coming from Gal, who served for and still supports the IDF.
