-With production of Empire shut down, FOX has announced that episode 18 will serve as the shows series finale.
-The final season had a 20 episode order and was in the middle of shooting episode 19.
-The showrunners plan on trying to incorporate parts of episode 19 into episode 18 in an attempt to create more of a finale feel.
