Just started season 6. Why is David still living in the motel? The whole ted going to the Galapagos feels a bit tideous.

Season 6 has been kind of directionless. Like they set up so much story and then it's resolved quickly all because the episode has to end. "Oh gross! Jocelyn wants to work at the store!......oh no wait, she said no anyway. The end!"

It leaves the episodes feeling hollow and like they're just setting up joke plots with no real follow through.

Hmmm now I'm worried about david and Patrick's relationship after reading y'alls comments lol

I too picked up on david being more selfish this season but I was hoping it was just bad writing and over the top character behaviour 🤔😭

It's like in the later seasons of Friends, Joey become Joey x 100, making a caricature of themselves. I feel the writers are taking what people found funny about David, and made that his only personality trait instead of the full fledged character he's grown into until now.
