Yeah I had a trip planned at the beginning of April that I had been super excited for, but I canceled because of the virus. I had been looking forward do it for MONTHS. But yeah, like you said, the pandemic gives no fucks.

I had two conferences that I was presenting at cancelled, (one in April, one in July), an IRB study cancelled/postponed (most likely cancelled because we’re graduating and moving on to other things) because we can’t gather data with our approved instrument, Honors Convocation, BSW Senior Banquet, I was named the Distinguished Senior for my college and that ceremony was cancelled, also I was supposed to give the commencement speech at my college’s ceremony and commencement is up in the air right now.

Anyway, fuck him. More people need to take this seriously, and I’m sad and upset it’s had such an impact on my senior year even though I 100% understand why these things should/could be cancelled.

oh yeah my friend was gonna be graduating this June and his whole family was gonna be there (they’re from another country and had already bought tickets) but then the school just last week cancelled grad.

we had to cancel going to africa for my grandpas 90th birthday in early April (we’ve been planning it since last year)
I haven’t seen him in years and we were all so excited - him especially.

I have a trip in May planned. Part has been cancelled until after June 1st at the earliest to protect the gorillas, but the other half wasn't eligible yet because I can't change my flight. Mid May is still a way off so maybe things will change by then.

Otherwise, yes, I will be changing my flight and rescheduling it all for later in the year. It will just have to be shorter because of the way my future vacation stuff falls :(
