I did see Never Rarely Sometimes Always at an early screening, and I would highly recommend it. It's an extremely realistic look at the obstacles to getting abortion care in the US. It's slow, but purposeful, and despite avoiding melodrama, still had me crying at a couple of spots.

I'm probably not gonna go to the theaters this weekend - I'll just stay home and catch up on stuff I've missed. I really feel for all the movies being released rn that won't have much of an audience.

Oh man, the Terrence Malick movie is beautiful.

Not sure yet what we'll watch this weekend. I've been trying to watch/rewatch Wes Anderson movies, so maybe one of those, or a Celine Sciamma film, or Disappearance at Clifton Hill, or maybe we'll actually put a dent in The Americans. The one decent thing about spending more time at home is that there is truly no shortage of things to watch.

I was gonna wait for AMC to see Never Rarely, but shit, now I'm wondering if anything's gonna open ever beyond this week. Maybe I should just suck it up and pay. D:

I saw Lost Transmissions ages ago at TriBeCa; I remember thinking it wasn't great, but Simon Pegg's performance is v strong. (Speaking of, if they cancel this year's festival I'm gonna cry sfm. I have six things on my wishlist!)

On Tuesday, Vudu had the 4K digital for $10 plus it comes with a bonus movie. I think it's $15 now everywhere (I can't check since I bought it) but you still get the bonus movie if you buy it.

Most of these sound good to me. My bff wants to see Emma or The Hunt on Saturday. I guess we’ll see how things go!

I saw Emma a couple of days ago, it was enjoyable. Good cast and fantastic sets and costumes, if you like that kind of thing.
