Whoopi brings up (possibly but not really) awkward exchange at last Royal event. Then goes to news clip where London woman actually says many British feel Meghan is “5-clicks up from trailer trash”, which gets a frinkle-face reaction from the reporter. Yikes, these f’ckers. Panel is aghast at that woman’s comment. Trashes the London woman. Loathsome and shocking. It’s why they’re leaving, it’s ridiculous, how they treated her. It wasn’t overblown. They said the same about Wallis Simpson but in different terms back then. Kate isn’t from royalty but she didn’t get trashed [more than “Katie Waity”]. Meghan reads some British tabs, the treatment of her (Duchess) is atrocious.

Anthony Daniels is the only actor to appear in all Star Wars films and he’s promoting his book I am C-3PO: The Inside Story AD says he was a ~serious actor, so he didn’t want the part when he first met with George Lucas in 1975. Explains his evolution, how grateful he is. Talks about why he think it’s such an iconic character. They talk about his character voice. Everything about it was good for him as an actor, the physicality and voice tone and embodying the character’s nature. Talks about the impact of having video or downloadable viewing options where you can pour over scenes and watch them again and again. They surprise him with Chewbacca and R2D2. With offer of sanitizer. Everyone gets a digital download of The Rise of Skywalker.
This was a missed opportunity. There’s no explanation what the book really covers, or why it would be interesting to read.
