When we watched Sleeping Beauty, she said, ‘It’s not OK that man kissed her without her permission!’ I can’t tell you how pleased I was. If I don’t do anything else, I’ve managed to drum that in!

Are the Disney weirdos gonna go after Kiera like when they attacked KBell for banning her kids from Cinderella and Snow White.

Not so much here but the internet went defensive af.

I bet some will. lol She’s right and not to mention, one of the original versions of Sleepy Beauty, the prince raped Beauty. Majority of fairytales are dark.

Considering many old tales of Sleeping Beauty involve the prince raping Beauty to get her to wake up, I don't take issue with Keira here.

I think the key difference is Keira is still letting her daughter watch Disney, while also using it as an example of bad behavior (kissing without consent etc). Although maybe the Disney stans will be equally pissed that the movies are being criticized at all?

I remembered wrong - KBell sat with her kids during Snow White and they discussed consent.

It was Kiera who claimed to ban Cinderella and wasnt into Little Mermaid either.

I just recall KBell getting the brunt of the tweets from disney fans.

Maybe it’s because she was the voice of Anna, they thought she was a recent enough Disney Princess that she was ~betraying~ the brand. People are extra about Disney :/

lol which isn't surprising honestly, people get irrational when it comes to Disney.
