They do, and it's infuriating because Geralt's canon love interest is a really interesting WOC/main while the other white dude is just textbook sidekick.
And I can usually get on board with these migratory slash fandom ships, at least a bit, but in this case they don't even have the chemistry to justify the size of the fandom.
tale as old as time. the funniest thing is when people who carry guilt about choosing white guy a to ship with white guy b over the white guy b's canon woc love interest is that they'll start shipping all three people together despite the fact woc and white guy a have barely interacted/don't like each other. but if you bring this up, apparently fandom is about imagination and fun and things that move you and racism and internalised misogyny have nothing to do with it
This one got me by surprise which, shame on me. I just don't see why they should be paired so much by tumblr when they fucking know Yennefer is The Woman (plus they're wonderful together)
Nah. I tried to read the first one, got about 10 pages in, and said, "Fuck this."
Haven't seen the show, but I'm gonna guess everyone ships the two white guys.
