Tidwell's brother and SYTYCD runner-up Travis Wall announced his brother had passed away.
Tidwell was a ballerina who competed on the third season of SYTYCD and like his brother was the runner-up on his season.

Omg I remember Danny from that season, he was a beautiful dancer.

I saw the post a couple of hours ago and it made me very sad. I was a huge fan of Danny's when he was on SYTYCD and was just Googling to see what he was up to about a month ago.

Such a talented dancer, such a sad loss. My condolences to his friends and family.

I couldn't find any updates. The only thing I saw was a new pic Travis posted to his IG stories a few weeks ago with Danny and his mom. He said that they hadn't seen each other for two years. I took a screenshot because it had been so long since I had seen a picture of him.

A least they got to see him again before he passed.

Wow, I wonder what happened. If it was estrangement or they just grew apart as adults.

I saw on Travis' page that his mom was struggling with stage 4 breast cancer too. What a horrible time for her.

oh no! I remember watching this season with my mom, and we both loved him! She will be devastated. I’m so sad for his family.

He was robbed his season and he was robbed of his life now. I wish his family the best. He was such an amazing talent. I remember being awed by him on his season.

I just rewatched season 3 and I totally agree he was robbed. I don't understand how Sabra was the winner much less in the top 4.
