The American industry ain't ish either but I feel like there was at least some support here whereas the French just really love doubling down on things like this. I think she has more support from non-industry people like the protestors outside.
Adele even mentioned in her post-Cesar statement that they are made out to be puritans and revolutionaries for rightfully speaking out. Which is exactly what they'll call Americans for not being as open as they are.

I remember the stark difference on they viewed the #metoo movement vs here in the US.
