How Post-TomKat Era Katie Holmes Became More Fascinating By Getting Boring

February 28, 2020 The argument is made that even though Katie Holmes' career sucks, she is still an interesting figure marked by how often she's in magazines and a tabloid figure. She is a passable actress who could probably get a Golden Globe nomination "with the right role" but being singled out as the weak link in nearly every role means being in B and C-list movies (like the recent Brahms: The Boy II) is probably right where she belongs.
Her great escape from Scientology made her more interesting and the fact that she has avoided tell-all interviews or anything remotely revealing has made her more fascinating. Her secrecy regarding her relationship with Jamie Foxx and her dull Instagram have also made her more fascinating. She currently lives in New York with daughter Suri and basically lives as a socialite and fashionista.
Long story short, despite no real acting talent and a rather boring existence, she is forever fascinating because of her secrecy and how she escaped Scientology.
ONTD, why is boring mediocrity only apparently a good thing when it's about bland white women?
