I’m really not hearing it. That part of the song sounds like the rest of the song, not like a sample. The only difference is the ululating which isn’t present in the Yeasayer song.

I swear I could hear the chord progression of Pray mirroring the Yeasayer track within seconds of hitting play on the track.

That said, I don't know if those choral performance is sampled from Sunrise - and if it is they've really modulated it.

I really don't hear any similarities. I've listened to both these songs a lot (I used to be obsessed with Yeasayer bitd and I'm one of the 5 people still listening to the BP soundtrack regularly) and they truly sound nothing alike to me beyond having pulsing drumbeats, and even then they're not even using the same kind of drums.

They're not talking about the drums. They're talking about the vocals in the opening of the yeasayer track being sampled.
