Danai Gurira has signed a 2 year overall deal with ABC Studios in which she will develop, write and produce for the studio across all platforms.
Danai can be seen on the next season of the walking dead which is rumored to be her last.
She is currently serving as showrunner and executive producer on Americanah, a miniseries for HBO Max which she adapted from the best selling novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
