The movie was also produced by Lord and Miller ("Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse"). Jacobson voices one of the leads. It just says 'Katie Mitchell', so I dunno if that's a kid or a mother.
The plot centers on The Mitchells, a dysfunctional yet loving one whose road trip is interrupted by a tech uprising: all around the world, the electronic devices people love - from phones, to refrigerators, to an appealing new line of personal robots - decide it’s time to take over. With the help of two friendly malfunctioning robots and the family’s delightfully chubby pug, the Mitchells will have to get past their problems and work together to save each other and the world!
I've never watched Broad City I'm just really happy this project wasn't shelved! She also voices the Bean in Netflix’s Disenchantment series, which is set to return for a second season.
THE MITCHELLS VS THE MACHINES hits theaters September 18th, 2020. I expect to see none of you there.
