lbr this movie could end up being surprisingly good but it will never speak to my heart the way the 93 film does. that film is just...it's just means a lot to me

Yep, pretty much lol.

Agnieszka Holland has a fairly interesting filmography tbh. She also directed that gay period movie with David Thewlis and Leo Decaf Cappuccino.
