Having three new companions AND a new Doctor was just too much, they clearly struggle to give everyone enough focus and the result is that Yaz has barely had anything to do.

Any more than two companions for a long stretch of time has always been way too many. It's just too many people who get no focus and the Doctor ends up having no real connection to any of them. I want to like these companions, but I feel like we aren't getting to know them at all.
