Dershowitz remains stupid and exhausting. Now he’s saying that extorting [anyone] for the purpose of your political campaign is not impeachable. To which Nixon arose from his grave and said Waaaatttt? What in the f’ck is this guy on. Sunny lawyersplains how dumb Dershowitz has been. Gives a murder analogy, vigilantism, you’re still guilty of a crime. It’s law school 101. Meghan is ridiculous, and diverts to a clip of Mayor Pete /plays clip/ who is exhausted with impeachment and wants to watch cartoons. Whoopi points out the difference between a random on a talk show panel bored with impeachment vs someone running for Potus. Sunny confirms the rest of his remarks that didn't air in the clip, that puts it in a different context.
Joy is exhausted waiting for (at least) 4 Senators to do the right thing and vote for witnesses. Joy is trying to make a point which even includes John McCain but Meghan keeps interrupting her because OF COURSE. Whoopi gives her speech again about Joe and Hunter, do whatever you want with them, but you can’t combine it with T45 extorting Ukraine to get dirt on political opponents. Sunny points out again the difference between voting for witnesses, vs voting to acquit or remove.

Joy doesn’t like that Biden calls out his age, because he’s only 4 yrs older than Bone Spurs and is in much better shape. Whoopi thinks his relationship with age and death is much different. He knows age doesn’t have anything to do with death. He lost his wife and children when they were young. He lost his other son who was still young. Story is that he’s reached out to Klobuchar and Yang, and they’re like - not ready to throw in their own towel yet [re/Iowa caucus process]. Joy says people’s identity with age has shifted, used to be you never had children over 40 but now that’s gone. Panel doesn’t like ageism. Joy and Sunny took the NYT quiz. ACLU is claiming the Univ. of Missouri is being Big Brother by requiring students to install a location tracking app to make sure they show up to class. Sunny is like, nuh uh. Joy said when she was in college, she spent her time yakking in the cafeteria, honing her skills for The View. Whoopi gets serious, can the school sell the information, did they ask the students if they want to participate, can they monitor who is participating in protests. Sunny said it started with the athletes, where it was in place for 4 years and monitored if they were in adherence with their scholarships. Whoopi says STOP THE MADNESS. Joy says she’s still in the cafeteria all the time, and when she was a teacher, she was killing it in the teacher’s room.
