Sorry no. I get the sentiment that one video was better than the other. But can you really tell me if you were winning an award and someone rushed the stage to tell other people you didn't deserve to win it wouldn't be about you? Even if it wasn't about her specifically it's personal and fucking rude.

While I agree with most of what you said... do you really think he would have done it to anyone else?

I always forget this moment when I think of her career until she or Kanye bring it back up.

🙄🙄🙄🙄

I mean I'll always say that was a dick move from Kanye to do that, and I remember a lot of people here applauding in the live post. Any artist honestly, just accept the loss and move on. It's not that deep.

That said Taylor should acknowledge that her and team quickly took advantage of the industry sympathy which was based off a certain level of racism.

"as he did in 2015, and I felt like I finally got that respect, but then soon realized that for him it was about him creating some revisionist history where he was right all along, and it was correct, right and decent for him to get up and do that to a teenage girl.”

Taylor is like the last person ever to complain about someone else doing revisionist history when she loves doing it herself and built a career off controlling the narrative and trying to throw people under the bus while presenting herself as an innocent victim.

She also needs to stop with all the pseudo-feminism takes she's trying to sneak in there.

You’d think he came at her with knife the way she talks about it.

a drunken adult male humiliating a teenage girl literally in front of the whole world is probably pretty traumatic, even years later

she was 20 and was dominating the country music scene for 4 years by this point.

Whenever this is brought up. I think about that tweet where the girl was like “when Kanye interrupted Taylor, I thought “hm that’s weird” and not, this will drive them both absolutely insane over the years” (I’m paraphrasing, the tweet was much funnier) but I absolutely can’t believe how much they both still reference it to this day.
