She was SO skinny then and an idiot still told her she had to lose 15 lbs? Like, for real? What the fuck do men think about when they look at female bodies, ffs?

And what she went through as a child is horrible :/ it's tricky when your parents don't flat-out not support you, but also don't explicitly acknowledge and support you like that.

She wrote a song about this called In This Skin. She was going through it back then.

My cousin is a high fashion model and tbh, just hearing how they are constantly telling her to lose inches/weight is disappointing. I have some acquaintances who are actresses and one of them got so super thin in the three years I've known her and she said directors are still saying she needs to lose more weight.

Wow, good for her opening up about her addiction issues. I mean it was obvious but I expected her to never address it. Also, parents who hear there child's trauma but just never speak of it again are also doing harm. That happened with me coming out and eventually, I had to just put it out there again and not back down until it was addressed. My parents are good people so of course, it actually brought us closer but it took a while to get my mom out of the "act like it didn't happen" frame of mind. That just puts years of resentment and issues in a child as they become an adult.

Her dad is a POS and needs to stop chasing these young twinks.

How was it obvious? I'm not really remembering erratic behavior from her but I haven't followed her too closely.

There was one interview I remember on the red carpet when she was clearly high and drunk. Also on QVC too.
