Damon Lindelof, creator of HBO's Watchmen, has stepped away from the deservedly critically-acclaimed series. While he is open to the series being continued with someone else taking over, HBO programming chief Casey Bloys says, "It would be hard to imagine doing it without Damon involved in some way," and "We’re very proud of 'Watchmen,' but what I’m most interested in what Damon wants to do," leaving a second season highly unlikely at this point.
