it was okay, i wasn't really a fan but i can see why people liked it. it really doesn't have anything to do with the original chucky movies and they go in such a different direction it's really chucky in name only.

Stephen King was a big fan of the film, as was I. It was funny, gruesome and didn't offend the original storyline; no more than a timely re-imagining of Mancini's story.

At 85 minutes, it's worth a look.

It was fun IMO, but of course doesn't touch the original. Like other said, they didn't try to really remake the original, which I appreciated.

It was alright. It pretty much just did its own thing, while just using the character names and paying homage some kills from the original. Personally seemed like they knew it'd make more money using the Child's Play moniker than just naming it something else.
