Meanwhile, Misha posted a picture with Jensen the other day - they're currently filming 15.13 and there's only 58 days of filming left.

The preview looks interesting, but there was an article in the news before the season premiered (that I just got around to reading) where they talked to the cast and Jensen said it took him a while to come around to the ending they chose and that he thinks the fans aren't going to like it. So I'm setting my expectations real low. Like lower than normal. lol

LOL, he's said that a few times (that it took him a while to come around to the ending) and he's changed his mind on fans not liking it.

I hope he's right! But I will still school my expectations to the level of sub-basement 3 rather than even the ground floor. This way if it's not a complete trainwreck, I can be pleasantly surprised! lol

I'm still a few episodes behind too. I think I have 3 more to catch up on so I hope I can do that before the new episodes air. I want to watch the rest of the season as it's airing.

He’s kind of right though in that however they end it there will be inevitably be a bunch of fandom wank about it in some quarters lol

if after all this they manage to write a shitty ending........i actually wouldn't be surprised at all.

Same. The last season I enjoyed was 8, which had a lot of recurring themes and motifs throughout (that even a dunce like me noticed) that paid off in the finale. The show has never recovered for me so I don't expect much.
