Warner Bros to use AI to greenlight films

In a "this is absolutely go well, definitely not faulty at all" move, Warner Bros has signed a deal with AI company Cinelytic to use their management system for their film business.
WB will use the systems "comprehensive data and predictive analytics" in greenlighting films. The system will help predict how much a film will make at the box office/home streaming as well as the value of cast members in any given territory.
It supposed to help executives reduce time spent on low-value tasks and give better parameters like marketing and release date figures.
Cinelytics founder says the system is only good at breaking down numbers and other data sets, and that anyone worried about creative decision-making should not worry, since AI can't do that. Yet.
