Melissa McCarthy has signed on to star opposite Nicole Kidman in "Nine Perfect Strangers'.
The limited series will debut on Hulu in 2021.
Nine Perfect Strangers' is based on the book by Liane Moriarty, the author of 'Big Little Lies'.
Moriarty will also be an executive producer on the series alongside Nicole Kidman, writer and co-showrunner David E. Kelley, and exec producer Bruna Papandrea. McCarthy will also serve as an executive producer.
Nine Perfect Strangers is set at a boutique wellness resort where nine stressed individuals go to get on a path to a better life. The resort is run by Masha (Kidman), a mysterious and charismatic woman. McCarthy will play Francis, one of the nine strangers.
