I hate pretty much everything but I do not understand the hate for Imagine Dragons. They make bops and seem like decent dudes. Rock is perhaps too wide an umbrella so it doesn’t leave room for more traditional hard rock but fuck it, I unabashedly love them. And Walk the Moon deserved more songs on the list too.

I don’t get it either. Rock sounded the way it did before and after Imagine Dragons happened. They’re a product of the climate. Seeing them get called fake rock is admitting all mainstream and a fuckton of indie rock is fake too.

Same. It’s fine to not like their music and I can understand that, but I wish people would direct their actual HATE to bands/artists who are actual garbage humans. For a group of religious dudes, they are consistently on the right side of things and seem nice to their fans too

I have no issue with pop-rock of any form and Imagine Dragons have some catchy songs, but for me personally, I just feel like they’re over saturated plus all their singles (I haven’t heard any non-singles) sound the same so it gets to be a bit much for me personally.

I do enjoy some Walk the Moon songs though!
