A crazy Christmas miracle!
When @Racheldoesstuff found herself stranded in Bakersfield due to road closures, she tweeted out for a place to stay. This local family came to her rescue.

Hi. My husband and I are stranded in Bakersfield. Does...anyone have a place we could sleep?

After many roads were closed due to weather conditions, co-creator/actress of 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend', Rachel Bloom and her husband, Dan Gregor, was stranded in Bakersfield when trying to head home to LA. She was on Instagram Live where she and her husband were stopped multiple times trying to get home or to a hotel (many were fully booked already). They were worry about having to sleep in their cars but eventually someone was able to help her out. Rachel Bloom is also 7 month pregnant. They did eventually get home after 31 hours later.

We have a spare bedroom in Bakersfield! Lots of doggies and cats, and a chocolate mousse pie ready for tomorrow AM.

Thanks to the overwhelming kindness of @kaybeezeey and @porfenablah and his family, Gregor and I were able to sleep in a warm bed last night (unlike the thousands of people who were forced to sleep in their cars). Beware if you’re taking the 5, 58 or 15! https://t.co/ghPUsVqZQU
