Spotify is suspending sales of political advertisements in their ad-supported tier and in Spotify original and exclusive podcasts. They claim that they do not currently possess adequate tools to review and validate the ads but will review that decision as they improve their internal review processes. Spotify is the latest tech giant to weigh in on reviewing political content after Twitter's ban on political advertising and Facebook refusing to review validity of political ads.
