- The 2-part finale was a weird, emotional and ultimately hopeful and satisfying conclusion to the series [Spoiler (click to open)]- Turns

The finale didn't answer a lot of questions outside of Elliot and at first I was upset about that, but then I realized it doesn't matter. This show was never really about that, it was always about Elliot's mental illness.
It's still super sad that mastermind Elliot is kinda gone and actual Elliot is going to wake up to find his world totally different.
What questions did you find were left unanswered? This is a honest question; I only feel like I was left wondering about wtf happened to Tyrell and hoping that Flipper/Qwerty were okay.
I’m sure once I see other questions others still have, I’ll start to dwell on them too though.
Oh man so many. What was the point of White Rose's machine? Was she just bananas all along? What did Tyrell see at the end? What happened during the 3 days Elliot can't remember?
There were a lot of weird things that made people theorize that a lot of scenes were in a simulation/fake world (constant references to 5/9 and 11:16, Angela seeing her younger self when she meets White Rose, Elliot didn't see any bodies at Watership Township until he put the malware in the computer, etc), but since that wasn't the case why were those things there?
If you're talking about the three days from Season 1, when Elliot woke up in the back of the car and didn't know what happened with Tyrell and how he got there, that was all answered and explained in Season 3, when they revealed where Tyrell had been all this time.
As for White Rose, uh yeah, she was crazy. But also, Darlene reveals at the end that Elliot destroyed the machine and stopped it from fully functioning. So you can argue that we'd never know if White Rose was completely delusional or had created some time machine because Elliot destroyed it to save the town from essentially being blown up.
As for all the things people theorized, to be honest, I think a lot of fans of the show were guilty of over thinking the show and making things more complicated than they were, with some outlandish, over the top theories.
