Barely escaping an avalanche during a family ski vacation in the Alps, a married couple is thrown into disarray as they are forced to reevaluate their lives and how they feel about each other.

Starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell, the film opens February 14, 2020. The film is a remake of the 2014 Swedish film “Force Majeure.”

But speaking of Swedish remakes, whatever happened to the remake of A Man Called Ove with Tom Hanks that was supposedly coming out? Even though it does not need a remake learn to read subtitles idiots.

Jack Nicholson dropped out, and the feud between Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner who were the screenwriters is now replaced with Lisa Cholodenko.

In the book Ove is only 59. Tom Hanks is 63 and Rolf Lassgard is 64, and could easily play a the character again in an English movie he's been in American films. Or at least he was in Downsizing.
