- McGowan took to twitter to reveal that she is currently being blackmailed (possibly by an unnamed ex) over a sex tape
- Said blackmailer is also threatening to publically reveal McGowan takes drugs recreationally
- She decided to speak out and publically admit to being a recreational drug taker and admits to taking LSD at a dance in eighth grade
