oh, lmao well I saw this on twitter. I just can't. He might be worse than Nick Jonas. He doesn't need to do this and it's not a realistic way long-term of staying relevant. Just WHY?

how do the lyrics to his songs make his sexuality ambiguous? honestly, listening to the new album i was struck by how aggressively heterosexual the songs are when juxtaposed with his image.

yeah, they truly are but i think he had an unreleased song about getting with girls and boys or something that he performed at his shows. ah here it is: https://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/109987044.html

yikes. there's literally no reason for him to be playing this game unless he believes that this game is part of what helps keep him popular...that saying no might hurt his image.

but at the same time, the implication that people perceive him to be bi (and pick his life and work apart for clues to prove it) because of the choices he makes is odd. he's obviously (possibly?) leaning into it now, but his fanbase decided a long time ago that he couldn't possibly be straight, no matter what he said or did.
