The alan sorkin line delivery can be annoying at time, especially with the father's characterization.

i marathoned s3 all in one day so its one big blur outside of the miami episode with lenny bruce (holy SHIT did luke kirby kill it) but fuck midge for [Spoiler (click to open)]outing shy the way that she did? i dont really like her as a character and mostly watch for the production design/costumes but yiiiiiikes i'm glad she got her comeuppance

[Spoiler (click to open)]I dont think she was trying to out him on purpose. but by mocking his pretty boy persona she still did it by extension. Midge has gotten in trouble for talking about her family and husband on stage but family can forgive you. This was her first slice of how that shit has real consequences with strangers. She needed the wake up call that jokes come with a price sometimes.

Also, I don't understand how she and Suzie didn't sign the contract yet, even though they were.ready to leave for the tour??

Suzie dragging her feet because she didnt know how much to ask for during the US tour was one thing but they should have been ready once the overseas tour was offered. They both fucked up.

I want Midge to finally have sex with Lenny Bruce. JUST DO IT ALREADY!

I'm sad Susie and Midge are back at step one. I really thought they were about to get somewhere with Midge's career.

I like Benjamin! He was sort of a cardboard cut out of the perfect man in season two, but he became a real person this season. Part of me wants him with Midge, a part of me wants him with the tall girl who used to be ugly.

The Lenny Bruce scenes are always such highlights. The episode where he and Midge go out and when they say goodbye. My heart. They're running out of time with him history wise though. If they cover it on the show it's gonna be heartbreaking.

I watched the whole thing but I'm not sure if anything really happened? It could very well be that I binged it but it felt like a lot of set up and not a ton of payoff. Or maybe I'm just tired of the cadence/characters.
