Joy brings up pending Impeachment trial in the Senate. Steyer says the most important court is the court of public opinion for the most corrupt man in American history. Meghan says he bought his way to the debate polls, doesn’t think it’s fair instead of Cory Booker. TS tells his simple message, government is broken, it’s been bought by corporations, won’t get any progressive policies until government returns to -of,by,for- the people. Meghan says it’s not reflecting in the polls. TS says this is a series of elections, he’s been focusing on primary states where he’s polling higher. Meghan keeps interrupting him. Says T45 uses numbers that don’t relate to most Americans, his giveaway to uber rich and corporations, was a direct attack on everyday Americans. Abby wonders why T45 is still winning in polls in battleground states. Joy wonders if TS will give money to other candidate(s). TS says absolutely he’ll give money to candidates who are vulnerable. TS says he started one of the biggest grassroots organizations. Talks about income disparity, says Bloomberg isn’t willing to go for a wealth tax. TS came out for a wealth tax way before he decided to run. Abby re-quotes Warren who said (paraphrasing) it’s a waste of time to try to get a moderate vote. TS says we need to talk about prosperity, a growing economy, and need to be credible and go after T45 and his [false] strength of the economy.
Sunny brings up the black vote, especially the black female vote, Biden has a stronghold on that. TS sidesteps Biden but says we have to talk openly about race. Wants a formal commission on race to re-tell the story over the last 400 yrs. Not just the injustice, most don’t know who Jim Crow was, also the story of contribution over centuries, leading moral voice. The way you get unjust policies is by telling fake stories. When you tell the true story, then you have a policy that is just. TS came out with plan for HBCU, invests more money than any other candidate. TS explains he is for reparations, but this is a separate strategy. Give a chance to people explicitly discriminated against. HBCU have turned out the most judges, doctors, teachers, engineers, given young black communities a chance. The way the money has been allocated, was structurally discriminatory. They’re in dire fiscal straights. They don’t have endowments due to discrimination. Meghan asks about his red plaid tie, which he wears a lot. Does he only own one tie, is it his favorite. TS says he’s worn it for 20 yrs, people says he has no taste. Ana says he has to wear it to her Christmas dinner.

House Judiciary Committee voted along party lines 23-17 to submit two articles of impeachment to the House for a full floor vote. 1-Abuse of power and 2-Obstruction of Congress. Nadler postponed the vote until this morning, forcing GOP to vote in the light of day after a marathon 14 hrs hearing that ended late last night. It seemed more like Hunter Biden was being impeached. It was a spectacle. Sunny testified before the Judiciary Cmte before. The vitriol and shouting is for show, it’s absurd.
Drunk driving Matt Gaetz was shameful, bringing up Hunter’s addiction issues. Hunter isn’t on trial plus it was a low blow. Rep Johnson (D-GA) put it on record that it was the pot calling the kettle black. Gaetz was arrested for DUI but refused breathalyzer. Charges dropped because his father was a state Senator in FL. There are huge billboards in FL with Gaetz booking photo. He has 16 speeding tickets, he gets out of all them. Everyone has been touched by addiction issues so shame on you. Abby says it doesn’t have anything to do with impeachment. Meghan says blah blah. Joy thinks Biden is a viable candidate but thinks he needs to emphasize that these people are shamelessly attacking the one son he has left. Burisma may have been nepotism but he didn’t do anything illegal. Nepotism is all over the WH, the hypocrisy. Ana says it’s all over Washington, how is this new. Sunny says Ivanka got all these Chinese patents after T45 got to WH. Meghan says blah blah. Ana says Biden should announce a Washington-wide anti-nepotism initiative. Boris Johnson conservatives won majority in UK election, defeating Jeremy Corbyn. Ana thought Boris had effective campaign. Plays clip, which was a reference to Love, Actually. Joy says he’s not a climate denier. Corbyn also believed in climate change, but was anti-semite. Meghan says blah blah. Thinks Corbyn was Sanders on acid plus anti-semitism. Also thinks Johnson was a flawed candidate. Thinks the vote was against a hard line, that there is place in the middle and US should consider that because people in the middle vote too. Abby says media and twitter shouldn’t be used as a temperature of voting public. Abby said he was a flawed candidate but he made his campaign very simple. Ana reminds that Johnson and other NATO leaders were mocking T45. Sunny says no one knew Corbyn. Says Johnson and T45 are both nationalists. Abby says Johnson can be a politician without behaving like a petulant child. Panel talks Johnson education and experience.

Colorado Springs mom used a decoy package full of trash and kitty litter, for the thieves stealing packages off porches before the owner brings them in. Abby tells a story, she would do that too.
