Tekashi 6ix9ine, now notorious for being an FBI snitch, wrote a letter to a federal judge about why he decided to turn on the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
Tekashi did not face any serious consequences for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old-girl, allegedly beating his child's mother, or allegedly strangling a 16-year-old girl in public, but he does face prison time for racketeering, firearms offenses and drug trafficking.
So, why would he apologize and try to explain himself now? Oh... his sentencing is coming up.
- "Before my arrest, I publicly dissociated myself from Nine Trey but I knew that it would come with a price. I knew... that the gang would retaliate against me... I was kidnapped by members of the gang, became aware of the fact that the mother of my child was having sexual relations with one of my co-defendants and they were stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from me."
- "I had a feeling of relief when I was arrested by the Government because I felt stuck, like the gang had control of my life and that I would never be able to escape their grip. I needed to do something before it was too late."
- "I know that I am not the victim because my actions contributed to this mess."
- "There is no excuse, no justification and no apology good enough to explain my crimes."
He got four months of probation for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, distributing a video of it on the internet and profiting from it. Hope he rots.
