a lot of the same people vote for the costume oscar, and they usually love big dresses period movies

Downton Abbey didn't get nominated either and that's all costumes from start to finish.

I mean, even if it gets nominated for more awards, I can't think of a category it could win. I was hopeful for Adapted Screenplay for a while, but it's obvious the The Irishman is gonna scoop those up.

I just hope it does good box office and that it scores a couple noms so we can see the cast at award shows.

Yeah this film has not been doing well at the awards precursors so far. Hopefully it pulls in good box office numbers
