i watched Hustlers on a plane ride over thanksgiving and wow i can't believe thats the movie everyone was creaming themselves over. it was disjointed as hell and super not compelling. like a series of sad scamming montages.

I watched it a couple of days ago and I really liked it but also mostly bc I realized how long it's been since I saw a movie that wasnt a remake/sequel/blockbuster/oscar bait. I think it's being graded on that scale. Like it was nice to just watch a normal movie.

Same I was expecting something in the same league as Widows but it was lifetime movie esque

god Widows got done so dirty. should have been a heavy awards push. should have done better at the box office.
